Basically I am looking for prom dress ideas or just anywhere that has nice prom dresses this year. Which online sites are reliable and good? I am looking for something fairly simple, in silver or a pastel colour, preferably pink. If you know of any nice dresses at all really please link me because I am very open.

Please help?

I would recommend looking at websites such as Lipsy, Debenhams, Asos, Jane Norman, Missguided and Forever Unique (if you have a high budget). Here are some styles that you may like

ASOS have some gorgeous prom style dresses and lots of blush pinks. That's where I'd start!

VPonSale is a really good website that sells good quality yet affordable prom dresses. I saw a review of the website on youtube once and the dresses looked lovely.

I like this one http://www.asos.com/asos/asos-weddin...4&gridcolumn=2
but the back is a tad strange and I'm not sure about the whole two toned thing? What do people think?

Also http://www.asos.com/asos/asos-weddin...3&gridcolumn=1
I feel like this one is close to perfect if it was long other than the back which I'm not sure if I like.

Thanks for the help nju, Neostigmine, and evalilyXOX

personally i wouldn't wear them to prom; they're a bit bland for my taste.

I'd say first decide if you want long or short then google image search e.g "long pink prom dresses 2016/2015" or something along those lines to get some ideas. Things you can narrow it down by are; material, neck line, colour, length, waist line, decorations, lace, beading, corset back, zipper, pockets, etc.

Prom stores are good but often way overpriced in my opinion. TKMaxx is also another store that does carry evening dresses.

If you are ordering online then be careful with measurements and order your dress at least 3 months before the date so that you can send it back if needed. Second hand dresses in good condition can be a big steal, if you find someone from the year above with a dress you like, you can offer to buy it from them.

It's easiest if you look for yourself as only you know your tastes, if you can try dresses on that will really help you to see what looks good The most important thing is to have fun, what you wear is secondary. I know girls that wore jumpsuits to prom last year

Quiz in Debenhams have some really nice dresses under £100, as do Asos.

Be careful with buying them online, there are sooo many fake websites out there st the moment, make sure to check the reviews of the websites before you order, and if it seems too cheap to be true, it probably is. (sorry, I sound like my mum)
