Hey everyone, I'm currently in Year 11 and shortly are year will be selecting subjects to study next year in IB. One of my interests is to study Economics and Political Science in college but I am unaware for the subjects that I have to select in order to do so. We were intervied by are Head of Careers department and they suggested I study Economics (which is what i was planning to do) but I am not certain whether it is crucial for me to study History in my IB's in order to take the course I am interested in. So do I have to take History in my IB's for me to study Economics and Political Science in college?

    Thanks in advance.

I don't think it will be essential for you to take History, but you might need to take Maths.

Yea, maths is obligatory but since I'm not as qualified to take it as a HL subject I'll take it as a SL.
