    Hi all,

I graduated in 2013 with a degree in popular music but would really like to get into radio either as a Broadcast Assistant or even Engineer (as I used to work in IT roles).

I am finding it hard knowing where to being. I am 32 and a lot of trainee positions are aimed at 18 - 25 year olds. My degree has no radio experience and so I would need some kind of training position. I also volunteer at the local hospital radio where I help edit and import audio files.

Has anyone got any advice to help me?

    Many thanks!

My Background is TV and not radio; so not the same thing at all.

I was rather struck by your assertion that lots of trainee positions are aimed at 18 - 25 year olds; are you sure about this?
