I want to study at university of Glasgow, but the problem is that i'm from Latvia. I guess i will have to go through Foundation Courses, but i feel like they won't accept me just because i'm form Latvia, and our country's education is not the best (there's quite a lot of universities that don't accept Latvian certificate).
Also, i know that to have a good chance of being accepted into this uni, you have to have other achievements, and like charity work, good references and etc. But there's not many things to do in Latvia, so i really don't know what to do.
(i'm sorry for any grammatical mistakes)

Hi!
There are students from all over the world in Glasgow (I am an EU student myself)! According to our university's website 60-80 Latvians start their studies at Glasgow Uni every year. Did you check this information already: http://www.gla.ac.uk/international/country/latvia/ ? I think having any hobbies that show you're an active person and being able to demonstrate real motivation towards your chosen course in your personal statement will help you a lot! It is definitely worth applying
Good luck!
