I have had this disorder for many years but only last month I saw my GP and got diagnosed.

I am in my final year at university and living in halls... I get extremeley anxious just leaving the house, attending meals and goimg to class

I recently told my uni and they said i could take my exam in a smaller room which is great

But, I am having so many problems that I am very concerned about getting bad grades and thus ruining my job prospects

Could anyone offer any adivce? Ty

(Also, if anyone else is suffering from social anxiety, I really recommend telling ur univeristy disability service as they can help you... Also, I do not regret univeristy at all, its a good experience)

Hi I had a similar problem in my final year best thing to do is talk to your course leader or the disability support people and ask about applying for mitigating circumstances. Which means you can get granted extensions and they can also boost your grades up a bit if they are considerably lower than your previous grades) xxx
