What is 'resolved work'?

And also, what is 'context for my work'?

I'm filling up the portfolio for Uni of Edinburgh in the euclid thingy and have no idea what's going on.

Yea, I'm aware it's due in a few days and I'm not even ready. I'm non EU so I think I'd have a different due date but the uni's non technical help hasn't replied me sigh. So now I have to rush! But this is mumbling... so what does 'resolved work' and 'context for my work' mean?

'context for my work' refers to anything you might want to say about the work in order to explain or otherwise enrich their understanding of the work, if you feel that necessary. for example ; your thought process leading to the work, your actual making process leading to the work, specifying if it is a developmental sketch or resolved work, maybe title / medium / dimensions / date
'resolved work' is less clear, but generally refers to work that you feel is finished. a complete piece, as opposed to developmental sketches, or a work in progress. if you work in projects, then this would refer to the final outcome of a project. whether or not a work can ever be resolved is up for debate, though.
try not to rush too much ! and good luck !

hmm
If I'm applying for interior design, would that make my 'context for work' as... drawings or sketches or designs of interiors??

I was imagining 'context for work' more as some supporting words for the work (the work being the drawings / sketches / designs), rather than that itself. but you're not wrong, I just feel like a worded context for work is more typical in portfolios, and you submit development sketches etc as work. ultimately, though; if you interpret a phrase like that in a slightly different way than others, and you still submit something that ECA likes, then I don't believe it'd harm the application.
