    Anyone know how many marks were for questions
    Last part of 5 (the cosec q thing)
    The proof of cotx thing
    The last part of the last question?
    Thanks (I know I lost all these marks for sure)
    5b was a 5 marker I think. 9b I'm told was 4 marks but I got 1 at most on that

    Guys which equation did you substitute in the values to get the sign change to prove x=1.473?

    you dont use the graph
    3g(x+1) +pi = 0
    3arcsin(x + 1) = -pi
    arsin(x+1) = -pi/3
    x+1 = (sin-pi/3)
    x= -1 + sin(-pi/3) and simplify
    yesss omg i love you

    x=3 y=16

    Gradient is -1/2

    -1/2(x-3)=y-16

    -1/2x + 3/2 = y-16

    -x +3 = 2y-32

    -x -2y + 35 = 0

    x+2y-35=0
    Damm it this question cost me marks, no idea how i did but i got gradient as 10 (think i did 6+4) instead of (6-4) ff,so got the normal as -1/10 but i got y=16 and the method correct, any idea how many marks id lose?

    For question 5 part one I wrote the answer as x=9.2175 which is 1/4tan(3/4) in degrees rather than radians because I wasn't concentrating -how many marks do you think I will lose for that. As for the grade boundaries, C3 is an easy module but relative to the average C3 paper that was considerably more challenging so I would say 100 UMS will be 71/75 with 65 an A*.

    Thought it was a good paper imo, reckon it will be 66-68 for a*

    The last solution to 8b was (assuming you have the others correct) -1.277 + pi
    for the last question pat c i got
    -5ln(1/2 + 0.5/e)
    so a =5 and b=0.5

    Why equation did you use for the change of sign equation and what roughly were your answers starting to think I got it wrong even though I did get a change in sign

    even if it does it's unlikely to be anything more than a two-marker so i think you're okay
    well, it came up Looooool but you were right i drew arcos by accident instead of arccsin but i think i got the 2nd part right

    How do you do question 6?

    Something like this:

    x^4 + x^3 - 3x^2 + 7x -6/x^2 + x -6 = x^2 +A + B/(x-2)
