Hi guys, I'm considering self-teaching myself (via revision guides/textbook/friends notes) Government and Politics AS level in order to increase my chances for PPE?

Does this sound like a good or a bad idea?

    Thanks a lot

As long as you're doing 4 AS subjects, you're good. There is no requirement to have studied politics in sixth form.

You're not at an advantage or disadvantage if you pick it. However in reality, probably a disadvantage because AS exams are coming up and you'll take your focus away from other subjects.

As long as you think you can get solid A's in all your AS's, go for it.

It won't increase you're chances. You're better off getting better grades in the subjects you already do and using the time for extra reading etc
