I suppose this can go in this forum.

Anyone heard of these new(well they're old but they've only recently become popular) contact lenses? You basically put them in overnight and they reshape your cornea so you can take them out in the morning and have perfect vision.

Anyone have any experiences with them? The manufacturers say theres no dangers but they would say that, so if anyone has any info to the contrary I'd be interested to hear it.

Maybe ask an optician about them?

If the effects are only meant to be short term (ie; 12 hr day) then it can't be awful.. and they couldn't sell it if it'd blinded anyone.

Well the optician says they're safe, the effects are fully reversable, but, in my opinion, just because the effects are reversable doesn't mean they're safe. Are there any long term effects of having your cornea reshaped everynight?

Laser surgery blinds people all the time and they still sell that, so your reasoning is a little flawed :p:
