Hi, I have an English Controlled Assessment, titled 'Explore the ways Shakespeare presents characters who become frustrated and impatient in their relationship' (referring to Romeo and Juliet).

Should there be a common argument throughout or is this more to do with the different language tools used?

Just getting a bit confused on how to interpret the title, so any help will be much appreciated

I don't know what exam board you do but based on the methods I've been taught, I would suggest that you write more about the different language tools used. You could still have a common argument, but focus on Shakespeare's structural and lexical choices.

Hope this helps somewhat, sounds like a good question!
