I have been made an offer for a university starting in 2017 as I applied for deferred entry. This is what I intended to do as I want to have a gap year but I received my welcome book and letter thing in the post today and it says 2016 on the book and 2016/2017 for the finance thing.
I double checked on track and it defiantly says my offer is for September 2017 but now I'm not sure what's going on and I need to make sure ASAP as I don't want them thinking that I'm starting this year when I've applied for 2017 entry.. D:

They probably haven't printed a 2017 version of the book yet so they sent you the current version. Call the uni like the previous poster advised just to double check and put your mind at ease.

This. They won't have printed the info for 2017 entry yet, because printing is expensive and things will change between now and then.
