    Ah! Cheers
No problem. :yy: We did have a TSR Libertarian Party but it closed - the National Liberals are actually using the Libertarian's repurposed sub-forum however they're a separate group.

I'm not an expert on political definitions (in fact I know very little), please could someone advise me on how the ideology/policy positions of this party is different from the Libertarians (or Classical Liberals).
This party is Centre-left Economically whilst Classical Liberals are generally right of centre

We haven't interfered with the political side of things.

We're there if they want to ask us anything.
This is exactly how it should be with dual memberships for technical support for a new party.

Yeah I didn't think it would be right to artificially bump post counts and post threads as it isn't really representative of the party.

    I'm sure we'll have a by-election candidate though

Well, the original Liberals and the National Lierals are kind of like sister parties.
    No we're not....

We're completely separate parties. We share one duel member and that is it.

Not at all and I assume that the Speaker would be looking for activity generated by members of the Nat Libs for determining how active they were.

    Good to hear!

Indeed, you dual members may be able to whip up activity from the full-time members - as you're doing with this by-election. As toronto says I was pretty much discounting your posts when I was determining whether the sub-forum was active.

    The GE might revive them.

Only for the seat to be lost 2 months later, if they even get one on the name alone

I wouldn't be too negative about them if I were you, chances are you will need the national liberals to get you into government.

They do kinda need seats, which means they need a manifesto, which means they need people, which would be indicated by at least some activity.

And I doubt neither Airmed, nor neb, would give anything more than pointers

We don't know. They might be de facto leaders right now. But if they managed to stand a person in the By I would expect that would manage to put something together in the GE.
