When arranging my applicant day they asked for guests... Feel stupid dragging my parents all away to uni as it would be away from home. Is it my parents that they expect to see?

    Why does it mention guests?
Because most parents care about where their kid is going to live for the next 3 years and want to look at how good it is. Also if you're making them drive you across the country you might as well give them something to do for the day and let them spend time with you rather than locking them in the car

    Why does it mention guests?
cause a lot of people want to bring their parents or as the other poster said their parents are interested in what uni their children want to go to

It is better for uni to offer that instead of people contacting them to ask if they can bring guests
