Exactly two get a merit, so 0.25 * 0.25, I've got that. So the next candidate needs to get a *pass*. That is, he needs to be in the top 75%, but he can't be in the top 25% because that's a merit. So he has to be in the middle 50%. Does that make any sense?
2. Anyone remembers exact question b? or any values I only remember P(X>28) the other was around 50~ something

Tot enrgy b4+wd=enrgy after +wd by fric forces
That got me 100ums tbh. Literally. My paper was trivial though 2014 M2.

(b) postiive skew, mean > median.
(c) no change
(d) standard dev decrease.
For 6d), I don't understand how S.D decrease while there was no change in the mean value. I must be missing something...
