Hi, basically i am really interested in studying economics at Durham and i believe i am on track to getting the right A Levels. However, the gcse requirement is to have an A in maths (i have a B). Will this prevent me from going to Durham?

Unless you resit that GCSE and get an A, I'm afraid it probably does mean that. You could email the department to ask if there's any flexibility, but economics is a competitive course and the majority of applicants will fulfil the requirements. That said, I can't actually see that requirement on the course page; they say they need an A or above at A level, but I don't see any mention of GCSE. Where did you see it?
