Toothache

Seeming as dentists are extremely hard to come by (I don't have one), anyone got any advice on how to deal with toothache??

I'm taking calpol at the moment as a pain killer (I have difficulty swallowing tablets, so liquid paracetamol is easier).... but it's still hurting...

:frown: :frown: :frown:
Can you not try dissolvable paracetamol? Taste disgusting but they would be a stronger painkiller then calpol. Im no doctor tho lol! Gd luck, toothache is horrible! xxx

I've tried the soluable stuff before but it made me sick the taste was that bad!! :frown: I even put juice in it to try to sweeten it but that made it worse!
OMG I have toothache too! I think mine's something to do with my wisdom teeth. I think dissolvable paracetamol is probably the best idea.

Have you thought about calling NHS direct regarding dentists? A while ago I chipped my tooth (:frown: ) and called them. They were able to call me back and give me a list of dentists in my area that were accepting NHS patients.

My mum signed me up for a practice that was meant to be opening near to where I live but we're still waiting to hear back from them...this was at least a year ago!

I did have a dentist but he ran his own practice and he got ill so the practice closed down....this was a couple years ago and we've struggled to find one since!
Im clueless as to what else could help sorry.Hope you get it sorted tho.xxx
