Ive got an offer from UCL for 3As which I believe I will be able to achieve. However being an international student, I feel my job prospects after getting my degree, Mechanical Engineering with Business Finance, would be limited due to my international student status. Is there any chance of landing a job and are international students allowed to work or intern at places while studying?

Whatever you can get.. If your application (i.e. CV/cover letter, extracurriculars, volunteering etc) is strong enough you'll get interviews. Your degree doesn't really guarantee anything by itself mate.

And yeah, big companies normally sponsor international students. I'd try to intern at a large company with the view of converting that internship into a grad job offer.
