Hey everyone I'm new to this site so please forgive me but is anyone applying for QTS Primary Teaching? Well I have an interview with LJMU in Feb and they want me to have registered for my skills test. Only problem is I'm worried because I'm not well revised on them and if I sign up for them will the date be given to me when I need to go in and do the tests because I would much rather apply and choose my own dates so that I am more comfortable and have a longer time to revise. Help?? Do they give you a date when you come in for the exam or do you choose your own?
    Thanks S x

Hi, when you register with the professional skills test website you have to input your details e.g. Name, date of birth etc.

You have to select which test you would like to book (literacy or maths).

You choose the test centre you want to do the test and then it will show the dates available for that centre. I think they show dates for the next three months. Just choose a date and time that suits you. If you feel you aren't ready for the date you have booked you can always change the date later on (as long as there is 3 working days before the test). Simple!

I hope this was helpful. Good luck.
