I would say that I am quite conservative when it comes to relationships, I would rather meet a girl in real life. However, I am the type of person where social interaction does not come easily, and have used apps and websites to find girls before.

My question is: does online dating ruin the (albeit unrealistic) romance of finding a nice girl in the real world. I have never had a girlfriend so I am not sure my first should be someone I met online.

How you meet someone in the scheme of things is arbitrary and irrelevant to whether or not it can tun into a successful relationship.

Why let something arbitrary hold you back?

The internet is the way forward.
