    Hello,
I'm going to be starting sixth form in september 2016 and one of the subjects I have chosen to do it english combined. I was just wondering what books do you read in both of the years and do you have to buy these.

I also don't know whethe to do combined or just literature.

    Thank You

    Hi

Think it depends on which exam board you study and which of their set texts your college picks - my college went with obscure books that no one else on TSR appeared to use lol.

I did my A levels in 2014 and I did English combined as I couldn't decide between language or lit - wanted to do both but that would have been too many subjects so thought the combined option would be the best of both worlds.

In total think I bought 5 set texts/books in the whole 2 years of the course (2 for AS and 3 for A2 year) but of course there is also the "wider" reading that you have to do too ...
