I am currently retaking my first year of A levels so I have time to figure it out but I am really stuck on what to study at university. I went and visited Southampton Solent and fell in love with the tv production course there. However I also really want to study event management. How do I decide which course to take?

    1) Take the time to research exactly what you will be studying; when you look at the modules - and maybe read some books about each subject - it may be that one rises above the other in your estimation.
    2) Consider what career you might want. Each course has a different natural career progression afterwards which you should consider.
    3) You have plenty of time yet to decide. There is every chance you will feel very differently by the time you apply so if I were you I would focus on doing what you enjoy now and the decision about what to study should take care of itself.
