    Hey,
I wanted to know how your medical school does its exams.
Do you have different papers for different components like anatomy, pharmacology, immunology etc ..or you have just one science paper that has all aspects????

I'm at Birmingham. For preclinical all the modules for one semester are examined together eg. Repro/cancer/brain all together. And then anatomy is examined slightly separately. For clinical years we just get two massive papers with 125 multiple choice questions on each, that can include anything. And then OSCEs as well

I'm at southampton, but on the BM4 programme. We get 2 written papers (one best answer and extended matching item questions, plus a few short answer questions), an OSCE, an anatomy exam, and 2 patient studies in first year. Second year is broadly similar, plus placement assessments. Third and fourth years are fully clinical, so we have placement assessments plus osces and a big written paper at the end of each year.
