    Hi there,

    I wanted to know what songs people listen to when working out in the gym
    as I tend to play the same old songs over and over....

    Nah bruh, I download all my tracks, man ain't got the data or patience to keep YT open on my phone for that long at the gym. Not about that life

    I tend to listen to music on my drive to the gym to get me in the mood rather than during my workout.

    What type of music I listen to depends what sort of mood I'm in as well.

    Sometimes I listen to something aggressive like you'd listen to to get you in the mood for a fight, aggression is good for getting you through a workout and not wanting to ***** out halfway through when it gets tough (bit of metal, grime or gangsta rap usually does the trick, example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nGrM5bnPnpY).

    Other times I go for a more epic empowering feel and I feel like I'll just never quit, "you can do it!" sorta vibes (certain movie themes, example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CqbkSWim_1s).

    Sometimes something to get me into a bit of a euphoric mood and energised, where I just feel good about life and I can really enjoy my workout, sort of thing you'd listen to to get in the mood for a party or go running (example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pfH9fTesGpM).

    Usually start with some Wiz when i'm stretching etc, i want some inspirational chat such as in 'Elevated' - https://soundcloud.com/weareallcrazy...alifa-elevated

    Or maybe a happy song of his or suchlike, say https://soundcloud.com/woshstore/wiz...ach-you-to-fly.
    Then when i'm starting it has to be some euphoric hardstyle with some hard drops. Such as: https://soundcloud.com/coone/global-...pisode-12-gd12 (if anyone can be bothered to click on this then skip to 11:45 mins. Fave song is at 47mins).

    Or i might listen to some decent/hard rap. That's usually for the end, when i'm buzzing. Such as: https://youtu.be/vJwKKKd2ZYE (don't click if you don't like some swearing or gangsta themes).

    When not in the gym i'm more mainstream. I'll listen to most chart music, inconjunction with Wiz, other rap, some hardstyle, deep house, even some techno etc.
