    Hello,
I'm 19 years old and on a gap year, Ive decided to drop my deferred uni place and follow another path. The problem is the foundation diploma I want to do isn't at a local college. AUB Diploma in Art and Design- Foundation Studies (Media) is what I'm applying to.
As its only level 4 course I would get no student finance and as I'm under 24 I dont apply for the government Advanced Learning Loans. Basically its a bit **** and Im going to have to fund about 10k for the course and accommodation MYSELF.
Does anyone know of any finance schemes or bursaries or anything that would help me along? Even perhaps alternative courses in Essex.
I only have 2 A levels, B in photography and C in Biology so finding a decent uni course is hard which is why its resorted to a foundation year.
Any help at all would be GREAT. This is stressful stuff.
    THANKYOU, Emily

Why don't you do another A level during your gap year?
