I am studying a BSc Psychology and enjoying it.

Just completed semester one of year one. Yes, it is challenging, but it is very interesting also. Good assessment grades require a decent amount of independent study. The research methods module is a lot to get your head around in terms of the statistical analyses and understanding SPSS - the statistical analysis programme.

The first semester has whizzed by for me and I am motivated by my passion for the subject. A few people have dropped out of the course, presumably because they found it much tougher than they had anticipated. Someone I was friendly with dropped out due to the stress of assessment week assignment deadlines - a presentation and accompanying portfolio; a 2500 word portfolio for another module; and a 1500 word research report. We have four assignments and an exam pending in semester 2 as well as group work tasks and preparation for seminar discussions.

    I'm loving it!
