I got a B in my English Lit AS last year and I'm in A2 and I have the chance to retake the AS this year also, but I don't know if I should. Of course my teacher recommended that I should to try and get an A instead which would make it easier to get an A overall. However, I took my AS at a different school with a completely different syllabus/books so I would need to re-read and re-study those books separately with no college aid. Should I retake and try and get an A? Or should I leave my B? Bearing in mind I do want an A overall..

B is more than enough to get an A this year, don't bother retaking, its not worth the heartache

I would. It shouldn't take very much effort.
