I have received an unconditional offer to study law from Northumbria but only if I choose it as my firm choice and have also received low entry requirements into Leeds university to study law but only if I choose it as my firm choice. I can't decide which university to put as my firm choice, which university/law school is best?

You should go to the university you think you would be happiest at. This said, if it were my decision I believe I would choose Leeds by virtue of it having the more traditionally respected name and the fact that I believe Leeds graduates have a pretty good record of employment in the top commercial firms. I am very far from being an expert though so I would certainly consider other opinions.

I can't speak for Leeds as I have no idea about their Law faculty, but I currently study Law with Business at Northumbria (second year) and can certainly tell you the Law school here is outstanding! If you're applying for the MLaw exempting 4 year course with masters, then trust me, they teach you in a way that is very practical focusing on your skills necessary for a solicitor/barrister (if that's the route you want to take).

    All the best!

Did you submit a special application to achieve the "low entry requirement" for Leeds and what is the requirement?
