I have received all of my offers and really unsure on my firm choice. I have been unable to visit unis as i live in Spain so wondering if anyone can give me their opinions on their experience at oxford brookes?

I'm currently a first year student at Brookes.

In my honest opinion, the Student Union isn't great. I think its deemed to be one of the worst in the country. They have actually created new societies such as the the snow sports society and cocktails society if that's what you're interested in. Other than that, the uni could do better with its societies.
Nightlife is okay I guess. There's a few clubs in the town centre that have good and cheap student nights.
I think the Oxford town centre makes up for this. You can see the famous University of Oxford and even become a member of its union (for a fee though)
The town is usually buzzing, there's so many things you can do - shopping, cinema, ice skating, restaurants etc. and its about 20 minutes bus ride away from the main campus.

The main building looks incredible and modern and has the main library which is open 24/7.
Depending on what course you're applying to really but I do History & International Relations and the teaching is pretty good. I do have some odd lectures where I feel I could have learnt this on my own but most of them are quite interactive.

Overall it's a decent uni, hope this helps
