I think breathing in toxic chemicals into your lungs negates the 'fresh air' you get.
Perhaps so. Surely you aren't under the impression that social smokers do so because they are trying to improve their health thereby?

    I'm just a bit surprised that's all.

That being said, I can't really say anything, I've smoked weed a few times myself
I'd like to try that too but I don't know any dealers.

Used to. Gave up when I realized it was completely stupid.
For a moment, all I saw was your new avatar and I was really confused, Cameron being an ex-smoker and all (well, he attempts to, anyway).

    Yes, because it feels good.
This surprised me. I didn't peg you for the smoking type, but at the time, I have no idea where I've gotten that impression from.

What is there not to understand; the term is self-explanatory. It's for those who want an occasional fag without getting hooked, and it's good to get some fresh air and socialise every now and again, isn't it?
Fair enough. Like I said, I've tried it a few times and each time, it's been far from enjoyable - it's odd to me that others would find it appealing, mostly because I can't figure out what the difference is.

Also, a fair few of my friends smoke and I still go with them when they go for a smoke, I just - you know - don't smoke with them.

Haha, no that's not the impression I'm getting. I just thought it was strange that you said smoking allows you to get some fresh air occasionally, which is ironic considering what's in a cigarette. I have many friends who smoke; it allows them to, as you say, get them out of school for a few minutes.

You don't need to know any dealers, you just need to know people who know dealers and get in with them.

It wasn't all that tbh, yeah, it felt nice and left you with a dry mouth, but it's not something I would do a lot

It's nice to know I'm not the only one who was surprised! I have no idea why, though - I've never seen him say anything about smoking, so I don't know where I've got the impression he wouldn't from.

Also, I've never smoked weed. That s--t would wreak havoc on me.

I just want to try it once to see if it's something I can get into. xD I'll most likely try it when I'm at university, because I don't really have many friends where I live right now.

    I don't understand?

I've just demonstrated that you don't have to smoke to go on a "smoking break." Like, if you want to, that's cool, you do you - but it's not necessary.

You said you don't find it enjoyable. But if you do (and I do occasionally) then when you go out with them you have a fag as well. Got it!?
