Laws on CCTV

In my school there are cameras in the boys and girls toilets, is there a law on that?

It truly depends on where they're placed I believe. As long as they can't see anything that they shouldn't I don't believe there's a problem. So the camera would have to be able to see into the toilets. If that's the case, it's most definitely illegal. Otherwise, there's not really anything you can do. :frown:
That's so backward. Why would they even put CCTV there?
Hmm if its to stop bullying I support it but if the principals avin a w***...

Staff will have their own toilets which, presumably, won't have CCTV :teehee:

Might be for a good reason. No one really steps out of line in our school so there isn't really much need for them

fire a laser in it, it will destroy the sensor,

Well that would explain it then since my head teacher went on BBC to say how bad the school is :banghead:
