Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen to Ribenas Road to AS Success!
If I had a wikipedia page this is what it would read

Ribenas (/raɪˈbiːnə/ ry-bee-nə) born 1998) is an English student and athlete. (S)he achieved 1A, 7B and 2C's before leaving secondary education in 2015.Ribenas has been scouted to play (s)he choosen sport abroad whilst on a athletics scholarship and academic scholarship (dependent on the grades achieved). (S)he started "Ribenas Road to AS Success" to stay motivated,to get an academic scholarship and because of poor mock results. Ribbons is currently a Year 12 (from the north west), who is studying for his/her AS level examinations this year and subsequently his/her A Level examinations next year.

My Grade Goals:

Edexcel Psychology - A/A*
AQA Biology - A
WJEC - Sociology A/A*

My GCSE Results:

A, 7B's, 2C's (I know they're not the best, but considering I never had much interest in academia until just before crunch time I don't think they are to bad )

A-Levels

I am currently studying AQA Biology, Edexcel Psychology (Linear), WJEC Sociology (Linear)

Future plans:

- Study abroad on an athletic and academic scholarship
- Get a BA or BS in Psychology (4 years)
(Then fingerers crossed :crossedf::crossedf:)
- A PhD or Masters in Psychology (5 years)
(You can all call me Dr. Ribenas then)

Reasons for this blog:
  • Poor AS Mock Results!
Spoiler:
Show
Psychology - A
Sociology - B
Biology - U
  • To get an academic scholarship to study abroad I need B's in all of my A-Levels!
  • Stay motivated to reach my goals!
Goodluck to everyone doing their AS/A-Level exams soon!!

For those interested in my AS mock results:

Psychology - A
Biology - U
Sociology - B

My results were extremely poor in biology, I wasn't expecting to achieve extremely high grades in my biology mock because of how busy my athletics schedule was building up. However, I have gained from this experience as I definitely know which subject I will be aiming most of my revision towards this term

:eek4: Biology can be really difficult. :console: I found that for the sciences, a revision guide was really useful (I used CGP for AQA Physics and Chem )

Good luck, Dr Ribenas

Student room forum goals , as for the motivation thing just try and do 15-30 minutes a day of high quality revision and build it up from there! You can do it!
