Hi. I'm doing AQA biology in a year. Surprisingly, remembering all that content isn't an issue. But my god my exam technique! I know it's something which can't be taught. I'm doing past papers but I always misinterpret what is being asked. If I keep going will I get the hang of it? Right now I'm always frustrated, especially when seeing the mark schemes simplicity. Any advice? I'm working hard but could be making more progress for sure.

Sorry you've not had any responses about this.

Why not try posting in a specific subject forum- you might have more luck there.

Here's a link to our subject forum which should help get you more responses.

Yeah you'll definitely get the hang of it by doing loads of past papers. When doing them, really utilise the mark schemes and look and the bolded words or key ideas to include.
Once you have done a few papers you'll realise that the questions get quite repetitive and certain questions are always in a paper. I know this was the case for AS Chemistry papers.
Some of my friends do biology and I know that the mark schemes are very specific, so looking over and analysing the mark schemes would be a wise idea.

I hope! I need an A to meet my offer ! I love biology but I always think of a reasonably scientific answer which ISNT ON THE MARK SCHEME.

    BUT

we should keep working! It has to make SOME difference right?
