I'm only a 14 year old lad so I'm not really trying to impress anyone but i just wanna be an all round nice guy. But it just got me wondering what do girls actually look for or find attractive in guys?

    That's a tall order for a teenager.
Listing a guy's financial situation as a personality trait made me laugh.

As a 14 year old lad, having a good sense of humour & making sure you're well-groomed will go along way. Confidence will follow.

Absolutely definitely need to look after yourself in terms of hygiene! Smelling like... well, a 14 year old lad, is not attractive. Shower and deodorant frequently. Keep your hair washed.

Apart from that, it helps to be funny, or at least have a good sense of humour. Be chilled too, don't try too hard. If you're naturally good-looking, that's a bonus. If not, keep a neat appearance anyway, and try to resolve any appearance issues you might have, eg, spots/feeble facial hair.

But don't worry too much about girls at 14. It can be fun if you do have a relationship or whatever, but at that age people tend to be rather immature about it all. If you focus on yourself, work hard (enough) on your schoolwork, have some of your own interests/sports/hobbies, and don't worry too much about girls, then you're more likely to end up with a girl than people who obsess over the idea.

NB - you mentioned that you aim to be an 'all round nice guy'. You should do so to an extent - always be polite and smile, never insult or be mean to someone (even if everyone else in your year does), and don't be an idiot. However, don't be a doormat to girls and offer your services at their every whim, this is quite a submissive attitude and will make you into at best, their 'best friend', and at worst, someone they use.

tbh looks dont bother me at all. Its all about personality and how they make you feel. They should be kind, caring, understanding, clever and honest :yy:

Depends very much on the girl, particularly when you get beyond initial attraction, but most girls like a little confidence, dominance, and entitlement
