theres a thread already about this. according to that, yes. most uni guys only want sex, some will have a relationship as well, but most arent looking to get married at age 18 so mainly just sex. if they like it enough they might move in with you so they only pay half rent and get it regular.

in reponse to your question, most guys couldnt care less if you are a virgin,lemon or melon. they only care if you start to put out often and easilily after meeting them. being a v doesnt matter to guys they only mind if you hope not to stay one for too long.

Seriously though, most men I know wouldn't mind going out with a girl if she was a virgin, but equally, nearly all men I know do want sex in a relationship at some point. So, while a decent guy would probably stick around and wait until you're comfortable to have sex, if it was never going to be on the cards that would be more of an issue. Same goes for girls, really.

As for "most guys in uni" it's really not worth making generalisations. There will be a few players who are just in it for sex, but there's certainly plenty of men who are keen on relationships.

i think helenias point hit the nail on the head. this is exactly what i meant. men dont care if your a virgin, only whether you want to remain one. and then they get put off. not by the original virginity.

as for fox's post, at school guys will meet oyou and dont mind you being one. but in uni and the real world, men tend to primarily only one thing

yes but you dont prefer the girl to remain a virgin when you are dating her , you mean you prefer her to be one when you nmeet her but hope she wont stay one with you for long after that.

i dont think its wrong to wait til marriage but i dont have that view myself my ex of 2 years did i was js wondering whether it would make a difference to a guy thanx for the posts guys :p:

do you think there are absolutely NO men out there for which the above is true? women don't have the monopoly on 'no sex before marriage' you know. Both men and women who want to wait are, without doubt, in the minority but that doesn't mean men with your views don't exist!

It shouldn't matter if they want a relationship. It never bothered me my girlfriend was a virgin before, I was quite willing to wait.

The one thing I cant stand is when a guy takes a girls virginity then just leaves her, or sweet talks her until she does agree to sleep with him.

i would be pretty gutted if that happened to me id rather make sure and wait a while before losing my virginity it does wind me up though especially if they tell them blatent lies just to get them into bed
