Apparently the time you applied doesn't really play a role anyway? That's what I've heard
That's weird, because I heard it's first come, first serve. Who knows. I guess we'll find out soon. How are your exams going, if you've started?

Which one have you put as your first choice??
Crown place.. Although it's very expensive for what you're getting..
I was looking at private accommodation mainly because I really want an ensuite and I'm scared that I applied too late to crown place. But I want to be on a floor with other undergraduates so I can make friends especially with all the bant on freshers... Decisions decisions haha

I know! Took me so long to decide hahha! Made my choice and because I have a unconditional firm offer I've got my room already at Melville!

Good luck with your application, I'm sure wherever you'll end up you'll be fine! But I hope you get where you want! 😊

    Hi!

Congrats on your unconditional! Me and my friends are actually looking for a girl flatmate in private halls. It's 2 minutes from the university, so just a short walk into town and the shops. All ensuite self catered. We are five girls studying Medicine, Bio-med, French and Architecture. We have a dining area, lounge and kitchen and it's all really modern and sociable. It's a really popular accommodation and there are only 7 spaces left in the whole accommodation. We don't blame you if you don't want to move into Carnatic or Greenbank, we've experienced it and it's not for everyone. We'll be going into our second years but we're friendly girls and we'd love to help you settle into uni and we do love to go out too!

If anyone is interested it's £120 a week and if you type in Europa Liverpool you'll see what it looks like For more info just ask!

    Thank youuuu xxx

    Hi guys,

I have recently received an unconditional offer from Liverpool University and they have sent me another email about accommodation. I've been trying to research about the different uni halls at Liverpool but there doesn't really seem to be any information for 2016 entry and a lot of the threads talk about accommodation that doesn't exist anymore.

I am not really sure what I want but my brother has advised to be on campus and to be self catered for. I think Vine Court sounds good but it does seem to be a bit expensive. I want to be somewhere that will be very sociable because I'm worried about not making many friends. I have heard that catering is more sociable because you have dinner together at a certain time, but I don't really want to spend £40 more weekly in my rent just for someone to make me some food when I can probably live off £15 a week (or less) for food! I also am not sure whether to live on campus or off campus because I quite like the idea of being near the town centre (and the uni for that matter) to avoid paying for bus journeys etc but if it's more sociable off campus then I would probably prefer to be off campus.

I have read a lot about carnatic student village and that seems like the place to be; however, this is catered and I'm not sure whether catered is even that good??

Any advice would be really helpful! Thanks!

    Hi! Congrats on your offer!
I'm actually looking for a flatmate for sep 2016. We're a flat of five girls in Europa Student Accomodation open to UoL and LJMU students, 10 min walk to town, 5 min walk to UoL campus.
Located next to the Royal Hospital, Lidl, Tescoes, Dominoes, and near several other shops and restaurants. 24x7 security, onsite maintenance and washing facilities.
Double bed, ensuite with a large study desk and storage. Shared kitchen, dining and lounge area with a flatscreen TV and free wifi. All bills (inc gas, lighting, heating and electricty) are included in the price for £123 a week. (Cheaper than uol Student halls [ transport (taxis to town, buses to uni )costs would be very low as you're pretty much in walking distance from everything
Accomodation is full of students across liverpool and includes social spaces, social events and car parking.
If anyone is interested reply below.
You can check the Europa Student accomodation website out too
