Bath are thought of as being quite lenient on grades, they are happy that you put them as their first choice.

I needed an A in Spanish but I only got a B, but they still let me in.. I guess Maths is important for your course, but Spanish was just as important to mine!

So as long as you aren't a B/C but more of an A/B you should be fine!

Yeah I mean what peskingrich said may be true, but you also gotta take into account the amount off people applying for the course... If theres like 100 applicants with A's, and you get a B, they might not accept you...

But if the rest of the applicants get C's theyll be begging you to come in lol

I'm applying for Aerospace Eng with the same offer (AAB), excpet I doubt I will get an A in physics.. I asked and an A in Further Maths would be just as acceptable, though I might not get that either... so I'm in pretty much the same position.

Haha, its the question on everyone's lips since the exams are now on. I need 36 points for aerospace engineering with french with a 6 in maths and physics HL. I probably will get the physics one(if not a 7... well, lets hope) but the maths I might scrape a 6 but probably not. Hopefully they'll let us all in and I'll see you guys next year!Good luck!

Well from my personal experience they are rather lenient for pharmacy as some of my course mate did not achieve the grade the needed, still they got in. I am not sure for aero though, if you have come to an interview they would probably consider you as a serious and a committed candidate for the course. Well good luck and do your best in getting the A you need!

Haha, nice. Nice. I'm safe then. Actually my math exams were last monday and tuesday, and I did pretty well. So if I do well on the third paper next wednesday, I might see you there after all!
They are generally quite lenient. I already had an A in maths, so they asked me specifically for an A in physics plus one other subject (to do natural science, where i had put physics as a preference for my major). I got a B in physics, they still let me in. Good luck

What kind of grades did you friends get? because i'm getting a bit worried especially after my chemistry praactical on friday didnt go quite as well as i would have wanted.
i have friends who were asked for AAA and got ABB and they still got in(psychology) , and similar for other courses that my friends are on, Bath seem to be fairly lenient, if u have an offer it probably means they like u! good luck, i remember feeling exactly the same last year

By the way, I got my IB results and as I had predicted I got the 6 in Physics but a 5 in maths, but I called them and they told me, albeit unofficially, that I was in. They just have to wait for the official results sent to them by the IB before they put it up on UCAS. So I'll see you guys next year, good luck with your exams.
