I'm Amninder and 16 (17 in May:excited:). I'm studying 4 AS subjects, which are:
  • Maths - Edexcel :proud:
  • Physics - AQA :proud:
  • Chemistry - OCR :proud:
  • Biology - OCR :headfire:
The objectives for this blog are:
  • To motivate me to do my best in all four subjects
  • To put my weekly goals and tick them off in an organised place
  • To actually study
  • To make better notes (short, easy to understand, NOT COPIED)
I mean, I will keep this blog updated on a weekly basis and tick off the goals I have achieved. I am also using TSR (a public place) because (even if no one ever sees my blog) I will have a feeling that there are many people reading this, which will "force" me to break bad habits (you know, the good stuff like YouTube, games, etc.) and instead, finish of my weekly goals.

I will also digital create notes on each topic for each of my subjects (maybe not maths), which I will share publicly to everyone (use them if you guys want). This will improve the quality of notes I make (again, as I feel people are going to be using them and I can't share 'bad' notes). As mentioned above, one of my goals is to make better notes, so yeah.

My exams will be from 18th of May, until 15th of June (first and last exams are for maths, interesting...). My blog will therefore run until about a week after 15th, where I will be sharing my experiences for the exams.

The good stuff is good in moderation

I like the idea of making notes for others very nice and hopefully it'll benefit yourself a lot too!

Best of luck.

Week 1 Objectives (25th till 31st Jan):

Biology:
  • Complete Module 3 (Exchange and Transport) notes;
  • Start Module 2 (Foundations in Biology) revision.
Chemistry:
  • Finish PAG 1.1 and 3.1 write ups (we didn't do PAG 2.1 yet)
  • Start Module 3 (Periodic Table and Energy) revision + notes
Maths:
  • Go through C1
Physics:
  • Start Section 3 (Waves) notes
As you see, most of these are "start"... oh well, better start now than never.
EDIT: I am prioritising biology over the rest because it's my worst subject by far... If anyone has any useful resources (websites and stuff) or tips for biology (or any subject by that matter) then feel free to share them, thx.

Thanks sean, I actually had that idea from a youtuber (thomas frank) and he said when he was at uni (or college can't really remember), he used to make notes and try to make them as good as possible... so im just trying to use his idea and see how it benefits me.

Hi, sorry for the late reply. And thx about the notes

In pomodoro technique, you set a timer for 25 minutes and focus on only one task, then take 5 minutes of break and repeat.
Just a way of "forcing" you to study
