    Hi guys!

Im applying for a nursing degree which starts Sept 2016.
For the last 2.5 years myself and my husband have been living in France.
We are both from the UK originally, I work here as UK self employed and so pay UK taxes with my self assessment return. My husband only works here during the summers (snowboarding bum ) and as our means tested grand will be based on his income, Im worried that when he comes to prove his income it will show we have been working in France and he has been paid in Euro's- will this affect my ability to get a full bursary (will I just get a fees only bursary?).
Anyone have any experience of working away doing seasonal work and how it affects their applications? Anything I need to specifically let them know or that will harm my application? Its all very confusing!
We do of course come back to the UK a few times a year, we still have bank accounts there in our names, which get used, and I run my business through my parents address in the UK.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Hi

If you are doing an NHS course, Student Finance can award you a reduced rate maintenance loan which is no income assessed. The NHS will offer the rest of your funding so I would advise you to speak with them.

    Thanks

Thanks, I know its a complicated one so speaking to them is probably the easiest thing to do
