I want to study law at university but I'm concerned about my A Level choices. I do Maths , Further Maths, Phyiscs and Spanish. I'm worried that due to the fact that I have no essay based subjects I would be denied straight away. I like to write for leisure and I enjoy books, I would say I am a numbers person and also very literate. Would I be considered for law providing I get A*AA/ AAA ?

There are no "suggested A levels" on the Durham website, so Im sure youd be fine. What id look at carefully is the section on the LNAT exam. They do take that very seriously at Durham.

What you should consider is, do you want to work in law, or study it? The two are quite different, and there are plenty of options to study after taking another subject. Economics may be of interest to you.

I took Law at Durham for a year and didn't enjoy it, so If you have any questions feel free to ask, and Ill be objective.

You should Try CILex as a law option it is so much easier and cheaper and you have the same rights as a solicitor.

Lots of my friends on my law LLB did maths and the sciences, I think you have a good mix there with Spanish. It shows you're a good all rounder, you will be writing essays in Spanish and problem-solving in Maths so your subjects are fine
