My college (for next year) is getting us to choose our a level subjects. They've strongly recommended doing just 3 A levels and an EPQ. However we do have the option to do 4 A levels with/without (not sure yet) the EPQ, although the college doesn't seem to encourage it. Just wondering if anyone has any experience or advice, thanks

I'm assuming you're going into year 12 with the new spec? I had sort of the same thing, I'm in year 13 now but on AS results day I had the option to carry on all 4 of my subjects or drop one and do an EPQ. I did the EPQ as it was more beneficial to my UCAS application as it shows genuine interest in something that isn't just your subject, it is also quite nice that you can choose the topic and do it on whatever you want
