I'm currently doing my A levels and I want a job. How many places would I need to apply for on average to get a job quickly? Does it take weeks or months?? I'd just want a part time on, maybe a weekend job. I dont have any connections. My GCSE's are decent and I've got a bit of volunteering experience.

You've got some experience so you might get one a little quicker, even so it'd take a few weeks or months. Apply everywhere

It doesn't matter how many jobs you are going to apply for if your cv and cover letter doesn't stand out.

Visit various company websites and apply from there. You will usually get a reply within a week or two.

I got a job at the first place I applied, but I know people who've been rejected 7 or 8 times recently
