    I think I've scored very highly since I attempted all of the questions and don't know of any I got wrong.

    I found it slightly easier than the previous two years.

    the repeated unit in the tessellation was 1 hexagon and 2 of the smaller triangles.
    1 small triangle is 1/24 the size of 1 hexagon. so 2 small triangles are 1/12 the size of 1 hexagon. let the area of 1 hexagon be 1, then the total area is 1+(1/12). thus the fraction of the whole repeated unit which are triangles = (1/12) / (1+(1/12)) = (1/12) / (13/12) = 1/13
