what would be an effective way to revise for psychology - how to keep notes? etc

Im doing psychology at AS and am trying to find good revision strategies too.
I find it really helpful to just make note cards for each topic and then test myself using those. You could make fun games where you write loads of different definition names on a flash card (e.g The biological approach) and then write the meaning to the definition on a separate card (E.g the biological approach is when...)
Then you could jumble all of the cards up and try and match each definition to the correct word

I also do a lot of past paper questions and mark them because it shows you what the mark scheme requires.
