    Horseplay. Giving someone a ribbing. Having a laugh. Teasing Americans also do things because YOLO, whereas Brits do it "for the banter". If you become skilled in the art of banter, you may be labelled a Bantersaurus, Banter Claus, The Archbishop of Banterbury, Bantom of the opera, Eric Bantona or similar.
