How would you recommend sending a work experience letter - by email, or by post, or physically going in with it? And should I ring before hand?

Are you asking for WE? Depends where. Ultimately I don't think it matters. Depends if you can find the right person to hand it to. Post is a bit outdated IMO and means they have to go to a lot of effort to reply. Email is probably the most common and easiest for everyone.
