    Hi everyone,

I have been offered a place for BEng Electronics and Electrical Engineering with Industrial Year. I would like to know if you get paid for the year spent in the industry and how much tuition fee would I have to pay for that year. Also, will i be given accommodation by the university for that year?

    1. You'll either be paid and be eligible for a reduced maintenance loan, or you'll be unpaid and eligible for all the usual student finance you'd get.

    2. Tuition fees and bursaries are listed at the bottom of this page http://www.manchester.ac.uk/study/un...ips-bursaries/

    3. You're only guaranteed a place in halls for first year (unless you're an international student) so the normal state of affairs is that you will share a house with other students during your placement year, just as you will during other years of your degree.
