Hungrier and sleepier

I'm male, school's going pretty slow (finish on Thursday for study leave) and I was very underweight a few months ago. I started eating more, every few hours, and I still do this, but recently I've been needing to eat more often and I feel tired still. I used to be lethargic all the time, but even when I'm back at a normal weight I'm still tired a lot.

What are your thoughts on this?

I usually get 8 hours of sleep or more a night, and I eat everything that's good for me + one portion of junk food (usually earlier on in the day).

On Thursday night I got 6 hours of sleep, and last night I got 11 hours :redface: and I just took a 2 hour nap! What's going on?

number of thaughts come to mind;
how old are you? its possible youre still growing which makes you tired.
you could have an iron deciency.
you may be sleeping too much, seems to make you more tired for some reason :s-smilie:
or you may not be doing enough physical excersie which also makes you sleepy which is odd :s-smilie:
any of these seem more likely than the others?

I'm 17. I think it might be lack of exercise (I hope anyway, prefer that over an iron deficiency =\) because this time last year I was running most days, and I haven't been running since 2006 so I may have to start up again.

Loss of weight, increased appetite and sleepiness can be signs of diabetes. You should get it checked out. Alternatively this could also be hyperthyroidism... Just go to the GP and explain your symptoms..
