Just got a 74/75 on Jan 16R in about 55 mins. Quite happy for tomorrow, just need to watch silly errors.

(Then again, just need to average 85 in any two of the seven A2 modules I'm doing, so not overly worried :-P)
I found out just yesterday that for Edexcel (and tiny hobbit please tell me if this is false), for an A*, you only need 90% over C3,4 in Maths, and your best 3 A2 units in FM and AFM (and of course 80% overall). Which means that I need a minimum of -7 UMS in D2 (assuming I pair it in the Maths A-level, rather than FM or AFM)

Na its right you only need that. Hence why i need 8UMS in S4 as i will put it in FM

Finished the IAL paper two hours back. Was quite nice tbh, now depends on whether I made any dumb mistakes or not.

    What were all your answers?

I found it hard while doing it, but not hard when I looked over it.

Did question 3 a million times because I misread it at first xD

for the question where the particle attached to a string is dropped, did anyone else have to use quadratic formula to find AB, i got like 3.51 or something.

some other stuff i can remember:

    1st question, F=1/7N, and t=4
center of mass of triangle was 5.18.
angle of solid suspended from A 71.33 degrees.
particle speed on horizontal level is 15
last question, omega = 17.993, time to reach D 2.453s, amplitude of combined particle sqrt(7)/15

rest where show that questions I think
