I applied for a new look card as a joke but I'm 17 so I changed the date of birth by one year. I clicked submit thinking there was going to be another page but it just my application had just been submitted. I didn't think anything of it as I thought the application would obviously be declined but I received a letter today saying I have been accepted. Shall I ignore it?

If you're not going to use it then you should cancel it. Unused store cards can damage your credit score. If you're not sure what a credit score is you need to learn about it, it is very important and can heavily impact on your life later down the line when you're trying to open up new bank accounts, get loans, mortgages or even just a phone contract.

I also don't recommend using it while under-age, and if you do use it eventually I recommend you be very careful with it, as again misuse can lead to a bad credit score which can screw you over in life.

read this guide on store cards to understand why:

I would cancel it straight away. You're pretending you're older than you are, that must be fraud.
