Can a beautiful girl really like someone a aman who is shorter than them? 
I'm like 5 foot 5 with jet black hair, cute face (slightly chubby), friendly, honest, and bluntly truthful (from time to time), and large hazel eyes. (My personality is good, it's just my appearance).

well for me personally dating a girl who is taller than me has to mean she is taller than 6" 1! which is pretty odd. so not much chance for finding someone taller than me.

My preference is stupid? OK Dr.Phil. I only ever wear heeled shoes, and that would make me like 4/5 inches taller than him. I wouldn't feel comfortable.

I prefer shorter men. Taller is ok. But the same height or smaller than me is definetly a preference. No-one should not date someone because of their height. That's just shallow.

Like it or not, physical attraction is pretty important in a relationship, and people cannot choose what they find attractive.
I once dated a guy that was shorter than me....but then again I'm only 5'4" myself so he really was remarkably short for a guy. It's not often that guys are shorter than me I have to say. My hubby is about 5'8".
I admit it was weird when I dated the guy that was shorter than me, but just because I got neck ache bending down for a kiss and I wasn't used to it lol. Dunno how guys manage it all the time!

To be honest no offence to any women that are like this. If they don't wanna go out with you purely because you're a couple of inches shorter than screw do they really deserve you?
I mean heck I ain't know giant yet my previous girlfriends have been some of the most attractive people I've ever met. So yeah basically height don't mean jack unless it's absurdly huge.
